Ketli cafe, located inside the busy area of Karama, is a small cute cafe run by a mother- daughter duo.
The decor of this cute cafe is quite simple yet stylish…….. Loved the way they had used different types of Ketli ( kettle) in different decor way … specially the way they had set a water fountain in one of the corner.
Their menu is versatile enough to satisfy everyone’s hunger & yes it’s really pocket friendly.
We were invited there for a bloggers event. They served us “Virgin Shirley temple” as the welcome drink…… it’s like a Strawberry Mojito ….. with lemon wedges & crushed strawberry pieces.
From starters we had….
⁃ Potato pattaka…… stuffed with chicken & cheese. The crust was soft & crispy.
⁃ Chicken Crispy Garlic bread….. a garlic bread with loads of grilled chicken & cheese on top it if … yummilicious.
From the mains we had….
⁃ Breakfast Platter …. with toasted Zaatar bread served with omelette, gravy beans & grilled chicken & cheese on the side.
⁃ Eggless Breakfast Platter …. served with Paratha along with toasted Zaatar bread, gravy beans & grilled chicken & cheese on the side.
For all the egg dishes they use the Golden Aljazeera eggs… which are healthy as well as rich in vitamins & minerals.
For the desserts we had ….
⁃ Lotus cheese cake…. perfect for everyone.
⁃ French Toast served with the maple syrup.
⁃ Waffles …. fresh & hot .. served with milk chocolate & Nutella ..
All three desserts were yummilicious.
Finally ended with a Ketli special tea with strong flavors… being a tea lover … I end up drinking two cups of tea 😍
To sum it all……. A perfect place to enjoy food & drinks with friends & family at an affordable cost.
